One job's menu: tasks, notes, updates, photos, plans and docs, panels, fixtures, tape light, dimmers, materials, punch list
The job

One job, everything about it

Address under the name, Check In one tap away. Tasks, updates, photos, plans, panel schedules, fixtures, tape light, dimmers, materials and the punch list, each with a count of what's new since you last looked.

Plans & docs

The sheet, on site

The office uploads it once. The crew opens it on site, zooms, marks it up, and orders materials from the same screen.
Punch list grouped by room with priority tags and an Update button on each item
Punch list

By room, with priority

Paste the builder's or GC's whole list and it becomes one item per line. High, before final, normal. Each item timestamped, each one closes with an update the office sees.
Job photos tagged by who took them and whether they came from an update or a fixture
Photos

See what's done before you start

Every photo is tagged to the job and to the update or fixture it came from. The guy doing trim sees the rough-in. The office sees what it's charging for.

Updates

Speak it or type it

What you did, material used, where, how long, photos. Tap the mic and say it. It lands in the office timestamped, under the right job.
Job task checklist by phase with billable and not billable buttons on finished tasks
Tasks

Your phases, your words

Slab, rough, trim, final, or whatever your inspections are called. Apply your standard template to every new job. Every finished task asks one question: billable, or not.
Daily check-in: select job, what are you working on, who is on your crew here
Check-in

Two taps in the truck

Where are you, what are you on, who's with you. The office knows by 7:15 and the schedule counts every head.

Needs attention

What you flagged, on the home screen

Walk a job, spot something that isn't an update and isn't billing — it just has to get dealt with. Flag the note and it lands here, grouped by job, so the office sees it without opening a single job. Tick it handled and it clears; the note stays on the job.

Billing decisions

Make the call, line by line

Everything finished waits here until somebody calls it. Photo attached, name and time on it. It leaves the list the moment you decide.

Billing

What to invoice, per job

Items and fixtures to bill, by job, with the date of the last finished work. Check them off as you invoice. Nothing finished quietly disappears.
Monthly schedule colour-coded by builder with crew counts per day, notes, appointments and check-ins
Schedule

Who's where, weeks out

Colour by builder or GC, crew count per day, appointments, notes and priorities. The attendance record of who actually worked, kept as a side effect.
Big-picture overview: every job grouped by builder, with pressing jobs flagged at the top
Overview

Every job, by customer

Flag what's pressing and it floats to the top. Houses under one builder, a developer's units, a service call: each sits under whoever is paying for it. Tap a job to open it. This is the board the owner runs the week from.
Daily recap: today, this week, history, grouped by job
Daily recap

The day, grouped by job

Today, this week, history. Tap a job for the full story: who did what, with what, and the photos. Built for the day you sit down to invoice.

Electrical, specifically

It counts the work the way an electrician counts it.

General field-service software treats everything as "a job" with hours against it. That's why your guys quit using it. Daysheet works the same on a custom home and a tenant build-out: the sections below are what an electrician counts on either. Daysheet knows what a panel schedule is, and it tracks installed work in the units you actually walk a job counting.

SectionWhat it tracks
FixturesInstalled count by room, with photos. What's in, what's left.
Tape lightInstalled runs with measurements, so the footage is on record.
DimmersBy room, so the trim-out list writes itself.
Panel schedulesReference photos on the phone, not folded in somebody's truck.
Punch listPaste or speak the whole list. One checkable item per line, tagged by room.
MaterialsRequested from the field by voice or a photo of the list. Tracked per job.

Your job checklist is yours: slab, rough, trim, final, inspections on a house; underground, rough, above-ceiling, devices, panels, final on a commercial job. Whatever your state, your builders and your GCs call them. Other trades come later, and they come from sitting down with people who do that work, not from guessing. Plumbing is next.

Getting it on their phones

Text them a link. That's the install.

01Your company gets its own link and its own walled-off space. Your jobs, addresses and photos are never visible to another contractor, and you can export all of it any time.
02Each guy opens the link, types his name, picks a 4-digit PIN and taps Add to Home Screen. It runs full screen like any other app, on iPhone or Android.
03Nothing to download and nothing to update. Open the link on iPhone or Android and add it to the home screen — when we fix something, everyone has it the next time they open it.
04We create your company and load your crew from what you give us at checkout, and email your logins within 24 hours. You add your builders and active jobs — about an hour, with a step-by-step guide. A video walkthrough is included if you want one. Rather we loaded your active jobs too? We quote it before we start. Most companies are running on it the same week.
Your first week

Monday you load it. Friday you bill off it.

Day one · about an hour

Put your work in

Your builders and GCs, your active jobs with their addresses, your crew's first names, and your checklist template in your words. Do it yourself, or send us the list and we'll load it.

Day one · two minutes

Text the crew the link

Each guy opens it, types his name, picks a 4-digit PIN, taps Add to Home Screen. No app store, no accounts, no IT. An hour on a video call and everyone knows what to tap.

By Friday

Make your first billing calls

A week of finished work is waiting in the queue with names, times and photos on it. You go down the list, billable or not, and invoice from what's left. That's the day it pays for itself.
