Daysheet
The detail

Your data, your questions, the fine print.

Everything a careful owner asks before putting his company's work into somebody else's app.

Your data

Yours, walled off, backed up three ways, and you can walk out with it.

01Walled off. Your company's records and photos sit in their own space on Google Cloud storage. No other contractor can see them, and the app is checked for exactly that before every release.
02Daily snapshots, 14 days, one-tap restore. Somebody pasted the wrong list or deleted a job? Roll the records back to yesterday from Settings. Photos are never touched by a rollback.
03A nightly off-site copy, held by us. Every company's records and every photo are copied out of the cloud host each night to storage we control. If the host disappeared tomorrow, your business would not.
04Your own copy, any time. Settings, Download backup. Records and photos, in a plain file any developer can read. No request, no fee, no "contact sales."
05Photos included. No storage tiers. Photos are compressed on the phone before upload, so a whole crew shooting all year uses less than a gigabyte. We don't meter it and we don't sell more of it.
06If you leave, you take everything. Full export on the way out, data kept 90 days in case you change your mind, then deleted.
Refer a contractor

Send it to a shop you'd trust on a job site. You get two months free.

When a company you refer signs up and stays 60 days, your next two months are on us. No cap. They still get the normal free first month, and this credit is your thank-you for sending them.

01Text them getdaysheet.com (or your own link, getdaysheet.com/?ref=yourcompany) and tell them to give your company name at the walkthrough. That's the whole process.
02After their 60th day, your subscription gets two months at $0. Annual plans get the equivalent credit. Their bill is unchanged by it — they keep whatever plan they already have.
03Nothing to sign up for, and no limit on how many shops you send. It works because the app sells itself once a crew has used it.
Who built it

Built by electricians, for electricians.

Questions people ask

Straight answers.

We're not in Florida. Does that matter?

No. The app runs in the browser on any phone, the walkthrough is a video call, and setup is done remotely. Your checklist template is built in your words for your inspections and your builders or GCs.

We do commercial. Is this a residential app?

No. It tracks a job, whoever it's for. The demo company runs houses under two builders, a loft unit for a developer and a deli panel upgrade as a service call, side by side. Jobs group under the builder or GC paying for them, the checklist template is yours, and the sections that matter on commercial work (panel schedules, fixture counts by area, plans and docs, punch lists by area) are the same ones that matter on a house. What it does not do is commercial billing paperwork like AIA draws or lien waivers.

Will my guys actually use it?

That's the whole design. The crew side is the address, the plans, the punch list and the photos, so they open it for their own reasons. Logging an update is a mic button. If a crew won't use it after the first few weeks, it's the wrong tool for that crew and I'd rather you cancel than pay for a thing in a drawer.

Is our data mixed in with other contractors'?

No. Every company has its own walled-off space, its own link, and its own logins. Nobody outside your company can see your jobs, addresses or photos, and the app is checked for exactly that before every release.

What if something happens to our data?

Three layers. The app keeps 14 daily snapshots you can restore yourself from Settings. We copy every company's records and photos off the cloud host every night to storage we control. And you can download your own copy any time. If the app is down for more than a day in a month through our fault, that month is credited.

How much storage do we get?

As much as you use. Photos are compressed on the phone before upload, so even a big crew stays under a gigabyte a year. There are no storage tiers and nothing to upgrade. The only rule is fair use: if a company somehow passes 50 GB, we'll talk.

Do you have a referral deal?

Yes — for customers. Refer another company, and once they've been on Daysheet 60 days you get two months free on your subscription. No limit on how many. Tell them to give your company name at the walkthrough, or use your own getdaysheet.com/?ref= link. The shop you send still gets the normal free first month; this credit is yours.

What happens if you go out of business?

You get a full export of your records and photos, and a copy of the app code so any developer can keep it running for you. That's written into the agreement, not just this page.

How does this fit with my invoicing?

Daysheet decides what to bill; your accounting package still does the billing. On invoicing day you open Billing, pick the job, and you get the finished items and fixtures with the date, who did it, the materials and the photos. You key or copy those lines into whatever you invoice from — QuickBooks, your spreadsheet, your bookkeeper. There's no QuickBooks sync and we don't pretend otherwise. What you're buying is the decided list, not another accounting system.

What happens where there's no signal?

It needs a connection to save, so in a dead spot an update won't go through. It saves the moment they tap, so there's nothing queued up waiting to sync and nothing to lose track of — if it didn't save, they'll know then and there and can tap again from the truck or the street. Most houses have enough signal for it; a whole day of updates uses less data than one video. If your work is genuinely off-grid, tell us on the call rather than finding out later.

Who do I call when something breaks?

Me, directly — email hello@getdaysheet.com or the phone number you'll have after setup. Not a ticket queue. Realistically that means same-day on weekdays and best-effort evenings and weekends, and if something is stopping your crew working, it gets fixed that day. There is no overnight support desk; a one-man operation shouldn't pretend otherwise.

What's included in setup, and what costs extra?

Included: We create your company and load your crew from what you give us at checkout, and email your logins within 24 hours. You add your builders and active jobs — about an hour, with a step-by-step guide. A video walkthrough is included if you want one. Extra, and always quoted first: us loading your active jobs for you, and any custom work beyond the standard setup.

Monthly or annual?

Either. Monthly is $79, $149 or $249 depending on your size. Annual is ten months' money for twelve months of the app — $790, $1,490 or $2,490 a year. Plenty of people start monthly and switch to annual once they know they're keeping it.

Is there a trial?

Yes — your first month is free. You put a card on file to start it and nothing is charged for 30 days; cancel inside them and you are never charged at all. If it is working, your plan starts on day 31 at the regular price — $79, $149 or $249 depending on your size. The month is for setting it up, working it out, and running it: your builders, your jobs, your crew signing in, and a few Fridays sitting down with a queue of finished work. By then you'll know.

What if we want out?

Inside your free month: cancel and you are never charged. After that: 30 days' notice. Cancel yourself from your billing page (type the email you signed up with), or just email hello@getdaysheet.com. Either way you get a full export of everything you entered, photos included, and we keep your data 90 days in case you change your mind.

Does the crew need accounts or an app store?

No accounts to create. Each person opens your company's link, types their name and picks a 4-digit PIN. Add to Home Screen and it behaves like an installed app.

What if we have more than 30 guys?

Built for crews from a few guys up to 30+. Most shops land on Crew (up to 5) or Company (up to 15). Past 30 people it's $20/mo each ($200/yr on annual). At 30 or under you never pay per head — add or drop guys inside your tier's limit and the bill doesn't move.

Can you change it for us?

Yes, in two bands. Included: your company name, crew, job categories, your checklist template in your words, which sections are switched on, label wording, Spanish for the crew, and any small tweak under an hour. Quoted: new features, reports and integrations, fixed price agreed before work starts. Everything built that way goes into the product for everyone, which is why it stays cheap.

The fine print

Terms, privacy, refunds, in plain English.

Terms of service

Daysheet is provided by Wrenfield Digital, LLC as a monthly or annual subscription. You get a login for your company and its crew; we host the app, keep it running, back it up daily, and fix what breaks. You keep every right to the data you enter. We keep 14 daily snapshots inside the app and a nightly off-site copy of your records and photos, and you can download a full export at any time. Monthly subscriptions are $79, $149 or $249 per month by tier; annual subscriptions are $790, $1,490 or $2,490 per year, billed once up front. New subscriptions begin with a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial; no charge is made during it, and cancelling before it ends means no charge at all. When the trial ends the standard rate for the chosen plan applies. After the trial, either side can end the subscription with 30 days' written notice; after cancellation your data is kept for 90 days, then deleted. Photo storage is included with no tiers, subject to fair use (50 GB per company). We aim for the app to be available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; if it's down through our fault for more than a day in a month, we credit that month. Our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months. If Wrenfield Digital ceases operating the service, each customer receives a full export of their data and a copy of the application code under a licence to run it for their own business. Referral credits (customers): when an existing customer refers a new company, and that company has been subscribed for 60 days in good standing, the referring customer receives a credit equal to two months of their then-current plan (or the annual equivalent), applied to upcoming invoices. The referred company's pricing is not changed by this credit. One referral credit per referred company; first valid attribution wins. Plans cover up to 5, 15 and 30 people respectively; above 30, each additional person is $20 per month ($200 per year on annual). Customization is available on request and is quoted and approved in advance; pricing varies with the work.

Privacy

We store what you and your crew enter, meaning jobs, addresses, notes, photos, names and PINs, so the app can work, and nothing else. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for marketing. It's hosted with a US cloud provider and separated from every other company's data. You can ask for a full export or deletion at any time. This website sets no tracking cookies.

Refunds

Monthly plans can be cancelled any time; the current month is not refunded. Annual plans are refunded pro-rata for whole unused months. Optional job-loading work is quoted in advance and refundable in full until that work begins.
